Low 140s to 160 in 3 months with Jenna
I originally scored in the low 140s and saw that dream quickly slipping away … Having Jenna in my corner coaching me culminated in me getting my score up to 160 in just 3 months and ultimately getting early acceptance to my first choice law school.
If you're looking for the right LSAT tutor, Jenna is the one to get! It's been over a decade since I was in academia but law school was always a dream. I originally scored in the low 140s and saw that dream quickly slipping away.
Jenna understood my time constraints and overall goals and built a curriculum to align. Each section of the test was broken down and I was provided guidance on how best to approach each section to maximize points. Jenna is not only knowledgeable, but she does an amazing job of motivating you to perform your best.
Having her in my corner coaching me culminated in me getting my score up to 160 in just 3 months and ultimately getting early acceptance to my first choice. Thank you, Jenna!
178 with Kennedy!
Kennedy, was absolutely brilliant and a wonderful mentor. We worked together for less than two months and in that time, she helped me increase my average PT score over 10 points (high 160s to high 170s). She helped me identify my unconscious weaknesses and her guidance trained me to approach logical reasoning in a whole new way. She’s reliable, encouraging, and super adaptive to a range of unique needs and types of cognitive processing.

13-point increase with Alicia
By working with Alicia, I increased my LSAT score by 13 points. Alicia taught me that this exam is not something to be afraid of but a stepping stone that needs to be completed to do what we are supposed to do. Together we went over LR, LG, and RC. I was able to completely master LG by working with Alicia. She taught me the best way to tackle RC, a way that made sense to me - something that I had been struggling with throughout my LSAT journey. As for LR, she explained what the question stems were honestly saying.
I also worked with Alicia to compose my personal and diversity statements. She pushed me to tell my story the way it was supposed to be said and own my strengths. Alicia was able to tutor while also focusing on my self-esteem as a woman, and a person of color made her the perfect mentor for me.
151 to 164 with Angeli -
After ~7 months of self-study that culminated in my August test (151), I knew I wanted to find a tutoring service. I was fortunate to come across elleSAT. Being a nontraditional student and underrepresented minority, it was affirming to find such an inclusive group of tutors that I could see myself reflected in. I worked with a combination of Van, Kerry, and Angeli. They were all great and I’m thankful for each of them.
I started working with Angeli on LR and RC in September. She was attentive, gave excellent feedback, and kept me positive during an otherwise stressful journey. She adjusted our sessions according to my needs, alternating practice and review methods to evolve along with my study plan. I looked forward to our sessions every week! As someone that deals with test anxiety, she also helped me feel more grounded heading into my November (16low) and January tests (164). I’m confident that if I took the LSAT again, it would be even higher than a 164, and a large part of that is thanks to Angeli. I would recommend her to anyone looking for LSAT support. Thank you Angeli and thank you elleSAT!

14 point increase with Van
Of all the tutors I’ve had in my life, Van is the best! She was very thorough in her explanations and made an effort to ensure I completely understood the concepts. In the beginning, I was frustrated and felt my score would never improve, but her patience and kindness served as reassurance and encouragement.
I loved how Van created a detailed study schedule, assigned homework, and provided me with game-changing strategies. She wants her students to excel, and you can see how much passion she puts into her work. Without her, I wouldn't have made the 14-point increase to reach my goal score! Van is truly a life saver.

159 to 168 in 1 month!
Van was amazing - she helped me go from a 159 to a 168 on the LSAT! She was super helpful in pointing out what I was doing wrong and how I can improve. Her guidance was very much needed and I really don't think I could have improved as much as I did without her help. Thank you Van!!!

160 to 168: two months, two sessions, zero bullshit
I reached out to elleSAT because I had a high diagnostic score on the LSAT. Anita got straight to the point and helped me put together an initial study plan for myself and told me the score increase I should expect and on what timeline. I got exactly the score she said I would in exactly the timeframe she told me.
I booked two sessions with her in addition to my very loose self studying, and I am confident that I would have achieved a higher score had I chosen to work with her more closely. She definitely knows what she is talking about and is no-bullshit. She was generous with our session time and genuinely interested in helping me achieve my goals in the most cost-effective and time-effective way possible. She is an honest person, a straight shooter, and a truly great tutor. If I decide to retake, she’ll be my first call.

155 in February to 165 in April!
Common wisdom is that it is easiest to improve on logic games, but no matter what I tried I just couldn’t seem to get better at them…what an incredible stroke of luck it was to find Van! Within a month of working with her, Logic Games had begun to feel like an old friend.
I really hit the jackpot with Van! Before finding Van I was skeptical of tutors, and certain that I would be able to manage the LSAT on my own. But as a nontraditional student, and one suffering from test-taking anxiety, I had not had much luck self-studying with PowerScore, The LSAT Trainer and 7Sage. Although I was struggling on all three sections, my biggest Achilles heel was Logic Games. Common wisdom is that it is easiest to improve on Games, but no matter what I tried I just couldn’t seem to get better at them.
Not surprisingly, the February 2021 LSAT, my first time taking the test, did not go well, and afterwards I knew I faced a choice: either get help and keep trying, or give up on going to law school for good. It was then that I finally decided to look for a tutor, and what an incredible stroke of luck it was to find Van!
Calm, professional, and unbelievably patient, Van pointed me in the direction of help for my anxiety issues, and cheerfully spent hour upon hour – be it in her invaluable classes or in private session –breaking down the Games in such a way that, within a month, LG had begun to feel like an old friend.
I can say with all sincerity that the 10-point increase in my score from February to April is entirely thanks to Van’s expert tutelage, and unfailing encouragement.

16 point increase!
I would highly recommend elleSAT to anyone who doesn’t want to waste time. I was able to hit my target score on my first LSAT attempt. Worth every penny.
I am so grateful I found Van. Before I was just reading discussion threads on study resources to use with very little guidance. Van was able to help me find resources that actually fit my learning style and throughout each session she made little tweaks where need be. She was extremely patient and answered all my questions thoroughly every session. With Van’s help I was able to increase my score by 16 points.
I would highly recommend her to anyone who doesn’t want to waste time. I was able to hit my target score on my first LSAT attempt. Worth every penny!
11 point increase from reading comprehension and logical reasoning sections
Working with Van gave me the skills and precision I needed to attack logical reasoning and reading comprehension head on! She helped me increase my score by eleven points in three monhts.
I had been studying on and off or two years and took the LSAT three times before I reached out to elleSAT. Van helped me increase my score by eleven points in a matter of three months by helping me focus on logical reasoning and reading comprehension. Working with her gave me the skills and precision I needed to attack these sections head on! With my 4th LSAT, I was finally able to achieve a score I am happy with.
I am so grateful!!!

164 to 172
After taking the LSAT for the first time, I was extremely discouraged with what I felt was a score barrier that I was unable to overcome. However, with just one session with Kerry, I saw my score jump from 164 to 172 on my retake.
Her Logical Reasoning section tips proved to be powerful tools in making that leap to the 170s.
I highly encourage those hitting a wall with their LSAT studying to sit down with Kerry to see how she can help identify your weaknesses and gain a few extra points in the process. I have no doubt that a few additional sessions would have only furthered my score progression.

19 point increase!
Kerry is an extremely qualified tutor: she not only took the LSAT, but graduated from law school, practiced as an attorney, and, when I worked with her, was in graduate school studying to become a law professor.
Not only had she been through this entire process personally, she also had an interest and the skills to teach. I looked forward to my time spent with Kerry; she took the time to make sure I really understood what she was teaching and we were not limited to using a company-produced study book like many of the other competing tutoring services require.
It was obvious that Kerry was experienced in what she was doing. I felt extremely confident in my abilities. Because of the tutoring I received, the overall stress of taking this ever-so-significant exam was not present: I was able to just focus on the exam itself.
I recommend Kerry to anyone who is serious about performing well on the LSATs, you would be foolish not to call her.
I can confidently say that without Kerry I wouldn’t have raised my score 19 points!

10-12 point increase on practice tests after 2 months with Kerry
Kerry has the rare combination of mastering the LSAT and the ability to teach people how to master it well. After meeting with her a few times a week for two months, my practice scores jumped 10-12 points.
When I decided to take the LSAT, the next test date was only 2 months away. Since I work full-time and have a family, I needed to maximize my study time. I researched many tutor options and found that it was easy to find people who did well on the LSAT but it was not easy to find people who did well on the LSAT and can teach you to do the same.
Kerry had the rare combination of mastering the LSAT and the ability to teach people how to master it as well. After meeting with Kerry a few times a week for a few months, my practice scores jumped 10-12 points. I have no doubt that my decision to work with Kerry helped me to achieve my goals.

143 to 156 in 3 months
I made a 13-point jump from my October test, bringing me from the 20th percentile to the 65th! I am a full-time student and working with a tutor on my schedule was a better option for me than committing to a long course. elleSAT was very flexible and I appreciated that Kerry referred me to less expensive tutors for review sessions to help keep my costs down.

141 to 154
Because of my learning challenges, LSAT classes didn’t work for me. With Van’s help, I was finally able to earn a 154.
Because of my learning differences, LSAT classes didn’t work for me. I didn’t understand the material before working with Van. Going from a 141 to a 154 is hard, especially if you are someone this doesn’t come easily to. She helped me to stay focused and positive, and helped me create a study plan that worked and managed my expectations. This was a long road for me and I couldn’t have done it without Van.

155 to 166
Van helped me raise my score from 155 to 166. She is such a good teacher.
I cannot say enough good things about Van's LSAT tutoring. I was able to bump up my score a few points through self study but was hitting a wall and couldn't figure out how to improve on my own. She patiently listened to how I was going about LR and RC questions and immediately was able to figure out what I was overlooking. From that point on, I've been consistently seeing improvements in every PT and scored a 166 on the November LSAT! She has been so genuinely helpful and is such a good teacher. Thank you Van!

One hour well-spent
Most tutors regurgitate information from PowerScore or Manhattan Prep, but Anita analyzes your specific weaknesses and targets them with her unconventional strategies and study plans. I was able to raise my score from a 168 to a 175 after just one session.
At a certain stage of your LSAT preparation, reading more commercial books or practicing more questions stops being helpful. Most students get frustrated and settle for whatever score they have at this point, but that's because they do not understand the key to a higher score is to change your thinking patterns. You can learn all the information you want but the LSAT makers are masters at getting you to revert to your baseline thinking patterns, which is why you keep getting the same amount of wrong questions over and over again.
I couldn't change my thinking patterns myself which is why I am grateful to Anita for showing me techniques that made me look at the test differently. Whether you like or dislike her techniques is irrelevant; just trying them forces your mind to approach the test differently which can be all that is needed to increase your score. Perfect study plan for ADHD
I only needed three sessions to get on the right track and breakthrough and into the deep 170s. I got to 170 exactly when she said I would, and her advice kept me moving higher. I recently scored a 175 on the August LSAT. Great investment and even better tutor.

I found Anita when I hit the infamous 165/mid 160s score plateau in my LSAT prep. Logical reasoning was holding me back, specifically getting better at managing my time with questions to maximize my score. She helped me to understand the test's mechanics in a different way through her close analysis and perspective and gave me new techniques for reviewing my work and moving forward. Her study plans are perfect for students with ADHD or limited time to study, and in my experience were more helpful than guides and books.

“My 1-hour study plan was invaluable”
“Any tutor can help you work question by question, but not everyone can help you implement a “top-down” vision of where each question, section, test and strategy falls into place to help you get from where you are to where you want to be — this is exactly where Anita shines. Money and time well spent!”

While I already knew the basics of LSAT prep, my 1-hour study plan was invaluable. Being a taker with ADD, I found itdifficult to be able to approach studying in traditional methods.
Anita was perfect for this. Her suggestions allowed me the unconventional perspective of actually being able to start my practice tests, plus she fully acknowledges the differences necessary to learning. I don’t think I would have been able to score within the 170s without that plan with her, but I’m immensely grateful that I chose to take the plunge.
It’s amazing how such little time completely changed my perspective on studying for the LSAT.
